I’m a developmental editor and author who lives near Boston, Massachusetts. My writing delves into race and family and personal relationships, and explores how these themes intersect with the complexities of empathy and forgiveness. I’m currently working on a novel.
I provide developmental editing and coaching services for writers of literary fiction, memoirs, and academic and nonfiction books. To learn more, get in touch with me through my contact page.
My work has been supported by a Bread Loaf scholarship and Hedgebrook residency, and I have an MFA in fiction writing from Warren Wilson College. Feel free to check out my publications. I’ve also served on the board of directors for Salamander Magazine and have been a teaching scholar at the Muse and Marketplace Conference.
