About Sumita Mukherji

An editor for more than fifteen years, I offer scholars in the humanities, memoirists, and literary fiction writers insightful editing and/or book coaching. For years I worked at a university press as an editorial and production director, earning a specialization in developmental editing from the University of Washington along the way. I’m also a published author with an MFA in creative writing, so I know the challenges writers face when staring at deadlines, blank pages, or tenure opportunities.
